This decorative ring is based on the Afrikaans expression for a sunshower, ‘Jakkals trou met Wolf se vrou’, which translates to 'Jackal is marrying Wolf's wife'.
Folklorika jewellery is produced in small batches with a focus on ethical manufacturing. The original designs are carefully hand carved in wax, which is then used to create moulds for casting in either bronze or sterling silver. If desired, gold casting can be arranged.
The entire production process, ranging from design to the final product's fabrication, is done locally within Scotand.
